Who We Are
About EquityExpress.net
An independent publication with one job: making home equity understandable.
For most American households, the home is the single largest asset they will ever own — and the equity inside it is the least understood part of their finances. The information that exists tends to come from parties with something to sell: lenders marketing loans, investors hunting discounted houses, services chasing referral fees. EquityExpress.net exists to be the other thing — a reference that explains, in plain language, with nothing to sell you.
What we do
We research, write, and maintain original guides on U.S. home equity: what it is, how to estimate it honestly, the routes for accessing it, how taxes touch it, how leverage multiplies risk, and how to protect it from fraud. Everything we publish is free to read. We also offer an optional text update program and an optional educational consultation request — both free, both clearly secondary to the library itself.
What we are not
EquityExpress.net is not a lender, mortgage broker, real estate brokerage, or financial, legal, or tax adviser. We do not originate, arrange, or fund loans; we do not buy or list homes; and nothing on this site is financial, legal, or tax advice. We are privately owned and are not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, any government agency. Decisions about your home deserve licensed professionals who know your situation — our job is to make you a better-prepared client for them.

How we keep the lights on
