Cookie Policy

Effective date: July 1, 2026 · Last updated: July 1, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Broadcast Media Inc, doing business as EquityExpress.net, uses cookies and similar technologies on https://equityexpress.net. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Related technologies include local storage (data your browser stores for a site) and pixels. Cookies can be “first-party” (set by the site you are visiting) or “third-party” (set by another domain), and “session” (deleted when you close the browser) or “persistent” (kept until they expire or are deleted).

2. What we use, and why

The Site is intentionally light on tracking. Technologies in use:

  • Theme preference (local storage, first-party, essential/functional). When you toggle light or dark mode, we store your choice (a single value named theme) in your browser's local storage so the Site remembers it on your next visit. This never leaves your device.
  • Form delivery and security. When you submit a form, our form processing provider may set technical cookies or collect technical data strictly to deliver your submission and prevent spam and abuse.
  • Hosting and security. Our hosting/content delivery provider may use strictly necessary technical measures (which can include cookies) to route traffic, balance load, and mitigate attacks.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics that build profiles of you. If that changes, we will update this Policy and, where required, request consent before such cookies are set.

3. Your choices

  • Browser controls. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking all storage may cause the theme toggle to reset each visit; the Site otherwise remains fully usable.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where we recognize a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as defined by applicable state law. See Do Not Sell or Share.
  • Do Not Track. There is no common DNT standard, so the Site does not respond to DNT signals specifically; our practices are the same for all visitors.

4. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
