Messaging Terms & Conditions

These Messaging Terms govern the EquityExpress.net text messaging program (the “Program”) operated by Broadcast Media Inc, doing business as EquityExpress.net. By opting in to the Program you agree to these Messaging Terms, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.
1. Program description
The Program sends automated promotional messages from EquityExpress.net to users who have opted in — for example, notices when we publish or substantially update a home equity guide, and occasional resources, offers, and updates relevant to home equity education. Depending on the consents you selected at opt-in, messages may include account information messages, marketing messages, and customer care messages.
2. Consent
You join the Program by submitting the opt-in form on our Updates page and checking the applicable consent boxes, constituting your express written consent to receive recurring automated text messages from EquityExpress.net at the mobile number you provided. Each message-type consent (account information, marketing, customer care) is independent — you choose which to receive.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to provide your phone number or agree to receive text messages as a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on user interaction. We aim to message sparingly; recurring messages will continue until you opt out.
4. Fees
The Program itself is free, but message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
5. Opting out (STOP)
Text STOP in reply to any Program message to cancel. After you send STOP, we will send one final message confirming your opt-out, after which you will receive no further messages unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by emailing help@equityexpress.net with the mobile number you wish to remove.
6. Help (HELP)
Text HELP in reply to any Program message for assistance, or contact us at help@equityexpress.net or 1-877-634-4111.
7. Eligibility
The Program is available only to individuals who are 18 years of age or older with a U.S. mobile number. By opting in, you represent that you are 18+, that you are the account holder or have the account holder's permission for the number provided, and that you are located in the United States.
8. Your number; changes
You agree to notify us promptly at help@equityexpress.net if you change, transfer, or deactivate the mobile number you enrolled with. You are responsible for messages sent to the number you provided until you notify us of a change, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Carrier and delivery disclaimer
The Program is offered on an “as is” basis. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and network availability; we are not responsible for delays, failures, or errors in delivery, or for any charges, damages, or losses arising from them. We may suspend or terminate the Program, in whole or in part, at any time without notice.
10. Privacy — no sale or sharing of opt-in data
Mobile opt-in information, phone numbers, and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Opt-in data is shared only with the messaging platform provider(s) that deliver messages on our behalf, solely for delivery. See the SMS section of our Privacy Policy for details.
11. Changes to these Messaging Terms
We may update these Messaging Terms from time to time by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and where required we will notify Program participants by text. Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
